Different
challenges.
Distinct
solutions.
Campaigns, interviews, consulting, art direction and original content. A selection of the work behind the work: the problem, the creative response and what it made possible.
Two full case studies show the breadth of leading a brand and building a department. This gallery gets closer to individual creative capabilities.

Campaigns / People / Identity / Strategy
01 / Political / Union communications
Make the
issues matter.
Matthew Modine for SAG-AFTRA President. Complex questions about pensions, representation and working conditions called for more than a candidate announcement. The campaign used clear issue films, explanatory motion graphics and performer-led stories to connect with different constituencies.
Campaign development / Creative direction / Motion graphics
Independent campaign, separate from NYFA.
One campaign.
Many conversations.
Issues, explanations and voices from across the union.
↗ Pension disparity / Explain an issue
More performer-focused campaign films can be added from the correct unbranded exports.
Advocacy through real voices
02 / Interviews and documentary
Let people carry
the meaning.
Artists Freedom Initiative. A difficult international subject made human through interviews, performances, and the words of artists affected by persecution. AFI used this work; our available viewing file is a working export.

Fundraising / Concept pitch
03 / Pitch storytelling
Build belief in
an idea.
The Hub. A separate collaboration with Matthew Modine. The pitch video was created for a fundraising event, introducing an environmental network designed to connect artists and advocates.
04 / Community and public art
Make the place
part of the story.
Burbank Beautification. A visual celebration of public art alongside a longer artist-centered film. Two complementary ways to connect a local initiative with the people who make it meaningful.
05 / Creative direction and visual ideas
Ideas beyond
the screen.
Selected ideas can serve more than a single campaign: a visual concept, a photograph, a poster, or an object that continues to represent the story long after an event.
NYFA Los Angeles / Conceptual photography
An original filmmaking silhouette inspired by the visual spirit of The Endless Summer. A film-school idea expressed as a single image.
Design / Print
Q&A posters
and campus art.
Original event posters became signed artifacts displayed at NYFA.
Archival artwork to be added.
06 / Brand consultation
Learning
Prep School.
Focused strategy engagement
The contribution
A consultation focused on identifying the school's most distinctive story and carrying it through its public-facing communications. Leadership later incorporated elements of the recommendations. This was strategic advisory work, not a full rebrand.
Examples of changes and the exact director recommendation can be added when available.
Client perspective
The director provided a LinkedIn recommendation. This is the place for a short, exact quotation, rather than a fabricated testimonial or unverified performance claim.

07 / Additional creative capabilities
Other ways the work takes shape.
Not everything needs its own case study. A few targeted examples can answer a potential client's question in seconds.
Audience and social
Build the local voice.
At NYFA LA, original social programming and direct local distribution helped grow Instagram from zero to 10,000+ followers organically in approximately two years.
Full context belongs in the NYFA case study.
Performance direction
Work with the voice.
Interviewing and directing performers, including voiceover sessions for Matthew Modine's separate unfinished short film starring Ruby and Leon. Production images to be added.
Creative direction / Interviews / VO sessions
Commercial and narrative
Know how to make it.
Original commercials, scripted shorts, and national theatrical work form the directing foundation behind later brand and creative leadership.

From a focused brand consultation to an original campaign, an interview-led production or creative leadership. The scope can change. The judgment behind it should not.
